Working closely with the Environmental Manager and wider project team, youll play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance, promoting sustainable practices, and supporting the delivery of environmental objectives across the site.

The Role As Environmental Advisor, youll provide technical environmental support to project teams, helping to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, client requirements, and company standards.
Youll also assist in driving sustainability initiatives, supporting carbon reduction, biodiversity, waste management and wider environmental improvements.
Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and maintenance of the projects Environmental Management System (EMS).
Provide environmental advice to site and design teams.
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits and client requirements.
Carry out environmental audits, inspections and site monitoring.
Deliver environmental training and toolbox talks.
Produce environmental reports, KPI data and inspection records.
Support sustainability initiatives, including carbon reduction and environmental innovation.
Promote environmental best practice across the project.
What Were Looking For At least 1 years experience in an environmental role within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure.
Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
Experience assessing environmental aspects and implementing effective environmental controls.
Understanding of UK environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of environmental topics such as: Ecology and biodiversity Air quality Noise and vibration Water management Waste and materials Climate change and carbon reduction Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
