Morson are recruiting Gold Card Electricians for a long-term TfL station LED lighting upgrade programme across the London Underground network. This role involves night working during engineering hours and offers a stable, rolling contract on a major infrastructure project.
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works, leading tasks on site, and ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard within a live rail environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out LED lighting upgrades across TfL and London Underground stations
- Installing, modifying, and replacing lighting systems and associated electrical components
- Installing containment systems including conduit, trunking, and tray
- Terminating, testing, and fault-finding electrical circuits
- Supervising and guiding Electrical Mates where required
- Ensuring full compliance with LU rules, permits, and safety procedures
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship at all times
- Valid JIB Gold Card (Electrician)
- Valid Sentinel card with LU access
- Proven experience working as a qualified electrician (rail or underground experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards and regulations
- Previous experience on TfL or London Underground projects
- LED lighting upgrade experience
- 2391 or equivalent testing & inspection qualification
- IPAF, PASMA, or other relevant site certifications
- Long-term rolling contract on a major TfL infrastructure programme
- Consistent night-shift work
