Morson are recruiting experienced Electrical Mates to work on a long-term station LED lighting upgrade programme across the TfL network. This role involves night-shift working during engineering hours and offers a stable, rolling contract for the right candidates.
You will be supporting qualified electricians on live rail environments, contributing to large-scale lighting upgrades across multiple London Underground stations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting electricians with LED lighting upgrades across TfL stations
- Supporting installation, modification, and replacement of lighting systems
- Pulling, routing, and securing cables under supervision
- Installing containment such as conduit, trunking, and tray
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Electrical Mate
- Valid Sentinel card with LU access
- Valid ECS card
- Previous experience working on rail or underground environments
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented approach
- Experience working on TfL or London Underground projects
- LED lighting upgrade experience
- IPAF, PASMA, or other relevant site certifications
- Own basic electrical hand tools
- Long-term rolling contract on a major TfL programme
- Consistent night-shift work
- Competitive rates (dependent on experience and credentials)
