The Role
Joining the Design Delivery Management (DDM) Site Buildings team within the Technical Directorate, you'll take ownership of the design delivery across a portfolio of critical site buildings under the SZC2203 and SZC2205 contracts. These include essential operational and safety-critical facilities such as emergency response centres, access control buildings, storage facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
As Contract Engineering Lead (CEL), you'll be accountable for managing the full design lifecycle-from early-stage concept through to detailed design-ensuring delivery to programme, quality, safety, and scope requirements. You'll work closely with an integrated, multi-disciplinary team including mechanical, electrical, nuclear safety, CDM, and architecture.
