Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a well respected Aerospace organisation.
Due to an ever increasing workload, they are currently looking to recruit a Buyer for an initial 6 month contract.
The role would initially be full time on site in Banbury but once up to speed, there would be the option of hybrid working with 3 days a week spent onsite and 2 days a week working from home.
There is a rate of £19.50 Per Hour PAYE- £20.80 Per Hour PAYE on offer for the successful candidate.
Please find the job description below: As a Buyer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of critical components and materials from a portfolio of suppliers.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you'll manage orders, resolve issues, and take proactive action to prevent supply chain disruption.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys problem-solving, and is highly organised with a hands-on approach.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
Manage the order book and scheduled purchase orders across multiple suppliers.
Raise RFQs, resolve invoice issues and challenge pricing changes where needed.
Provide delivery updates to key stakeholders and ensure escalation files are maintained.
Work closely with Engineering, Finance, Programmes and Operations to resolve supply chain issues.
Monitor and act on your own performance metrics.
