We are seeking an Architect or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant to join our team on an immediate short-term contract. The successful candidate will be available to start next week or the week after at the latest, with no notice period. This role focuses on delivering several Stage 1+ design feasibility studies for care home projects across Wales. For the right candidate, this contract has the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities- Produce Stage 1+ design feasibility studies for care home developments in Wales.
- Work independently and efficiently to meet tight project deadlines.
- Collaborate with the team during an initial briefing in Bristol.
- Deliver high-quality design outputs using Revit as the primary software tool.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Immediate availability (no notice period).
- 100% proficiency in Revit as your primary design software - no training time available.
- UK-based with UK project experience.
- Ability to attend a briefing in Bristol and work remotely thereafter (subject to IT setup).
- Strong design and technical skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in care home design is a significant advantage, though candidates from other relevant sectors will be considered.
- Contract duration: Now until end of April.
- Strong likelihood of the role becoming permanent following successful contract delivery.
