Morson Edge is recruiting an experienced Solar Panel Installation Team to deliver large-scale commercial and industrial solar PV projects across the UK. This is a permanent, Monday–Thursday role involving regular nationwide travel and overnight stays (typically four nights per week). Accommodation, fuel, and a company van are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise solar PV installation teams on site
- Ensure all works meet safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Deliver toolbox talks and manage RAMS and CPP documentation
- Liaise with clients, site managers, and Operations teams
- Carry out QA inspections, snagging, and final sign-off
- Support AC/DC coordination and commissioning activities
Essential Requirements (Applicants Must Have)
- Proven experience installing commercial solar PV systems
- Experience leading or supervising installation teams
- Strong knowledge of flat, pitched, and trapezoidal steel roofs
- Confident working at height with an excellent safety record
- Valid CSCS Card – mandatory
- IPAF certification – mandatory
- Manual Handling certification – mandatory
- Working at Height, Harness, and Asbestos Awareness (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence – mandatory
- Own car for travel to head office / initial site access – mandatory
