We are looking for qualified, proven CS&A- Structural Engineers to be based at the SCP site and will liaise closely with both the Design Team and Construction stakeholders. BPSS clearance is required for this role.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Degree in relevant engineering discipline (E.g. Structural Engineering, etc)
- Chartered Engineer (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with the design of reinforced concrete and steelwork-based structures and appropriate codes and standards (E.g. Eurocodes)
- Experience with checking of miscellaneous specialist calculations
- Experience in creating and interpreting engineering drawings
- Developing underpinning calculations to justify designs for service supports
- Responding to emergent structural technical queries
- Ability to undertake occasional travel to attend meetings and undertake site visits
