Our client is working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as an Electrical Designer at our Warrington, Cheshire site.
The role:
- Create electrical design solutions and deliverables across the full lifecycle, from concept to in-service support.
- Produce and maintain drawings and documentation to ISO standards, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are met.
- Collaborate effectively with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure coordinated and functional designs.
- Support design reviews, resolve technical queries, and contribute to innovative solutions for manufacturing and installation challenges.
- Assist senior designers with estimates, quality improvements, and test documentation, while staying informed on industry developments.
Essential experience of the Electrical Designer:
- Knowledge of CAD tools - AutoCAD Inventor.
- Knowledge of General Engineering Drawing Practice.
Qualifications of the Electrical Designer:
- ONC/HNC/HND (or equivalent) OR BTEC National Certificate/Diploma (or equivalent) OR appropriate apprenticeship of specialisation.
