You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, innovative, and sustainable engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs and align with industry best practices.
- Supporting the analysis, design, and preparation of civil and structural engineering deliverables for nuclear, renewable, and energy-related projects
- Contributing to all phases of projects — from early bids and feasibility studies through to detailed design and construction
- Preparing technical documentation such as Basis of Design reports, calculations, specifications, safety documentation, and design substantiation reports
- Conducting finite element modelling and structural analysis using modern tools and verification processes
- Participating in site visits, inspections, and design reviews, ensuring constructability and compliance
- Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand needs, resolve challenges, and deliver exceptional results
- Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation, helping us deliver smarter, more efficient engineering solutions

Essential skills and experience:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc)
- Working towards or already holding Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (we'll support you every step of the way)
- Solid understanding of civil and structural design principles, methods, and relevant codes and standards (e.g. ACI, ASCE, AISC)
- Experience using finite element analysis software and related tools for design validation and verification
- Good awareness of health and safety legislation, risk assessment, and design safety principles
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary project environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
Desirable:
- Experience within the nuclear, energy, or other highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with UK Nuclear Licensing and the Generic Design Assessment process
- Understanding of BIM environments and digital design workflows
