Morson Talent are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Engineering Scheduler / Service Coordinator to join a busy operational team supporting engineering and maintenance activities. This role would suit someone with a mechanical or engineering background looking to move off the tools into an office-based role, or someone with previous experience in scheduling, coordination or operations support within an engineering environment.

The Role

  • Support the planning and coordination of engineering works, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and operational reports are reviewed and updated accurately.
  • Requires someone who is organised, IT savvy and confident working with systems, reports and operational data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordinating engineering and maintenance works
  • Reviewing, updating and analysing operational reports
  • Coordinating engineers, resources and job allocation
  • Reviewing risk assessments and method statements
  • Maintaining accurate records and system updates
  • Supporting reporting and operational improvement activities
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Mechanical or engineering background preferred
  • Experience within scheduling, planning, service coordination or operations support
  • Strong IT skills including Excel
  • Experience using Dynamics or Business Central would be advantageous
  • Comfortable reviewing reports and working with data
