We are seeking an experienced Service Support Engineer to join a busy and high-profile environment supporting security systems across a major airport site. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance, and support of CCTV, ANPR, and associated security technologies, both on-site and remotely. You will play a key role in ensuring critical systems remain fully operational and compliant with service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for CCTV, ANPR, and security systems
  • Carry out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on hardware and software
  • Install and configure CCTV cameras, ANPR systems, and related equipment
  • Support system applications such as Genetec and similar platforms
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across site
  • Produce clear service reports and maintain documentation
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and site stakeholders
  • Participate in an on-call rota (24/7 shared)
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven experience working with CCTV and ANPR systems
  • Strong background in installation and service support
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults
  • Experience working in a field service or support engineering role
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with Genetec or similar CCTV VMS systems
  • Knowledge of networking, LAN, or IT systems
  • Experience with structured cabling or fibre
  • Background in airports or high-security environments
