We are recruiting for an agile MRP Scheduler to create, execute and monitor work schedules within a SAP environment ensuring smooth and seamless operations of the machine & assembly shops, with a typical planning horizon of 0 to 1 months. To provide clear and concise schedules to the business to ensure that supply meets customer demand requirements. The ability to identify & participate in improvements to increase efficiency and productivity is also a key aspect of the role.

Core Duties:

  • Creation, distribution and maintenance of Work To Lists
  • Support daily schedule and DSUM meetings to ensure pro-active action is taken to prevent misses in schedule adherence.
  • Generate schedule adherence reports on a daily basis and report misses and proposed solutions to risk
  • Responsible for keeping production orders up to date and relaying delays/changes to project management teams
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly KPIs as advised
  • Highlight bottlenecks, issues or any slippages
  • Monitor progress and minimize schedule impacts
  • Identify risk areas related to material shortages or production capacity and escalate as necessary.
  • Ensure any changes from Engineering revision processes are adhered to in SAP
  • Maintenance of work centre capacity and holidays in SAP

Functional Knowledge:

  • 5yrs+ MRP Experience essential.
  • Multi Level BoM experience essential.
  • Advanced Excel Knowledge preferred.

Business Expertise:

  • 3yrs+ manufacturing experience required.
  • 3yrs+ SAP Experience preferred.
  • List X Site Experience preferred.

Nature of Impact:

  • Required to present to the business sustainable capacity plans in order to make informed decisions.
  • Delivery of manufactured parts to assembly with risk mitigation to the overall business plan.
  • Clear communication to internal stakeholders and Customer Facing Business Units.
