The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for Landing Gear Static and Fatigue strength covering continued airworthiness and root cause investigation of in-service and manufacturing issues and also including certification of new developments and modifications on all commercial aircraft. These tasks mean interacting with several different stakeholders within the company, such as the wider Landing Gear team, Chief Engineer teams, Customer Services and also outside the company such as the Landing Gear suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Supplier Report Review: Review and technically accept suppliers structural analysis reports, providing critical feedback and drawing appropriate engineering conclusions to ensure full compliance with our methodology and standards.
- Problem Resolution: Ensure robust engineering planning and structural analysis is performed to resolve issues found during Testing, FAL, and In-Service operations.
- Technical Compliance: Interface with Specialists and Technical Signatories to ensure all analysis activities meet safety and technical needs with robust adherence to system processes and certification requirements.
- Coordination & Management: Manage and coordinate the Structural Analysis inputs to In-Service, FAL, and Flight Test tasks, ensuring alignment with program needs.
- Vendor Engagement: Engage with vendors and sub-contractors to resolve issues, considering the structural, system performance, safety, cost, and operational requirements.
