This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors and meeting customers while managing their own daily workload. The Role As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for visiting residential and commercial properties to accurately record meter readings for gas, electricity and water meters. You will use a handheld device to manage appointments, plan efficient routes and record readings accurately. The role involves working outdoors and walking several miles each day, so youll need to be energetic, organised and comfortable working on your own. Youll also play an important role in providing excellent customer service, ensuring customers are treated professionally during every visit.
