Quantity Surveyor required to join a busy and driven Highways team in Snodland, Kent. The role will involve supporting projects across the South East region, with the QS playing a key role in the commercial team, working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor and building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and client representatives.
You'll ideally bring experience from similar sectors such as Highways, Road Infrastructure, Paving, Surfacing, or Civil Engineering.
- Assisting with final account agreements and substantiations
- Ensuring compliance with Tarmac and client processes to mitigate commercial risk
- Accurately valuing completed work and ensuring timely cash collection
- Issuing early warning notices and managing compensation events
- Previous experience in surfacing or highways infrastructure projects
- NEC3/4 contract experience (highly desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Commercial awareness and process driven mindset
Company vehicle provided. Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points). Occasional UK travel to support wider team needs.
