Are you an IT Support Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?
I'm recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to join an onsite End User Support (EUS) team based near Prestwick Airport.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a hands-on approach to IT support who is looking to broaden their technical experience and get involved in a variety of IT projects.
Working alongside an experienced team, you'll support end users with day-to-day IT requests while gaining exposure to wider infrastructure activities.
Full training will be provided on the infrastructure side, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skillset.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite IT support to end users across the business.
Assist with the setup, deployment and maintenance of IT equipment.
Support hardware rollouts, office moves and other IT projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve a range of day-to-day IT issues.
Work alongside experienced engineers to support infrastructure-related activities.
Receive training in structured cabling and physical network infrastructure.
Assist with an initial project documenting the site's existing network infrastructure.
Maintain accurate IT equipment and infrastructure records where required.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support or End User Support role.
Experience supporting IT hardware and end users.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
Comfortable working in a fully onsite environment.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to successfully complete a DBS check.
Desirable
Experience supporting IT deployments or rollout projects. Basic networking knowledge. Exposure to infrastructure projects or structured cabling (training will be provided).
