Our client, a UK-based manufacturer of bespoke industrial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, is looking for an Industrial Sales Manager. The client has over 40 years’ experience of in-house manufacturing, design and build of high-performance systems for industries including food processing, refrigeration, power generation, and industrial cooling. Their strength lies in combining engineering expertise with full manufacturing control to deliver one of a kind reliable, tailored solutions from concept through to production.

About the Role

The Sales Manager must be technically strong to develop business across bespoke industrial solutions. You will be selling engineered, application-specific equipment where technical understanding and solution design are essential. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to convert complex requirements into deliverable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new and existing industrial customer accounts across UK markets
  • Identify and win new project opportunities in industrial cooling and refrigeration
  • Interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Prepare technical quotations and proposals in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Manage long-term customer relationships and key accounts
  • Attend site visits, technical meetings, and industry events
  • Support business growth strategy through structured pipeline development

About You

  • Experience in technical/industrial B2B sales (engineering-based products preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, or capital equipment markets
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings or engineering concepts
  • Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness
  • Proven ability to win specification-led or project-based work
