A leading organisation is seeking an experienced PAM Specialist to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of privileged access security solutions within a complex IT environment. This role will play a key part in strengthening security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and protecting critical systems from unauthorised access.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
  • Configure and support Privileged Remote Access tools
  • Manage credential vaulting, password rotation, and access workflows
  • Set up and maintain privileged session monitoring and recording
  • Support service account discovery and lifecycle management
  • Onboard servers, network devices, and systems into PAM platforms
  • Integrate PAM solutions with SIEM tools for monitoring and alerting
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to connectors, sessions, and access controls
  • Produce clear technical documentation and operational runbooks
  • Ensure alignment with security frameworks and best practices

Key Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven hands-on experience with PAM tools and technologies
  • Strong understanding of privileged access controls and security best practices
  • Experience across Windows, Linux/Unix, and network environments
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and privileged account management
  • Familiarity with SIEM integration and security event monitoring
  • Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain security clearance

Desirable:

  • Experience with leading PAM tools (e.g. BeyondTrust, CyberArk, Delinea)
  • Scripting/automation experience (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
  • Exposure to database access management (SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Understanding of ITSM processes and change management
  • Experience in regulated or secure environments (e.g. public sector, infrastructure)
  • Knowledge of OT/ICS environments
