We are seeking a competent HV Site Supervisor to oversee and manage site activities for projects involving high voltage electrical systems up to 33kV. Based in TW12, the successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of installation, maintenance, and commissioning works on HV substations and associated infrastructure.

The role requires close supervision of site teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, including CDM requirements. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with design specifications and company policies. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to maintain a positive safety culture and to manage site operations effectively.

Skills:

  • Proven experience supervising HV electrical works up to 33kV
  • Strong knowledge of HV substation equipment and installation practices
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation including CDM regulations
  • Ability to interpret electrical and civil engineering drawings and specifications
  • Competence in managing site teams and subcontractors
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Certifications Standards:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent
  • Relevant HV safety qualifications (e.g. Senior Authorised Person or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
  • CDM 2015 awareness
  • First Aid certification (preferred)
