Welder Fabricator
Location: Stokesley
Pay: £17.60-£18.10 per hour after probation
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:00pm | Friday 7:00am-11:00am
Job Type: Full-time,Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing team in Stokesley. This is a dayshift,temp-to-permanent opportunity, with the chance to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for welding and fabricating bespoke truck bodies from pre-cut materials,working from technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed safely,accurately and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG welding and fabrication of truck bodies.
- Working from technical drawings and specifications.
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Carrying out quality checks on your own work.
- Meeting production targets and deadlines.
- Identifying and resolving minor fabrication issues.
- Maintaining a clean,safe and organised workspace.
- Following company health & safety and 5S procedures.
- Working effectively as part of a team.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in welding and fabrication, ideally within a manufacturing environment. You should be confident reading technical drawings,using fabrication tools and producing quality welds.
Reliability,good attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential. An apprenticeship or relevant welding/fabrication qualification would be advantageous,but solid hands-on experience will also be considered.
