An initial 6 month engagement, primarily BAU support of a Linux environment. Find below a list of tools and technologies you will be working with:

  • Linux & Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Administration of RHEL 7/8/9, including installation, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
  • System performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • User, group, permissions, and SELinux management
  • Filesystem and storage management (LVM, XFS, ext4, NFS)
  • On Prem Infrastructure & Virtualisation
  • Support of physical and virtual Linux servers in enterprise environments
  • Experience with VMware and Red Hat Virtualization platforms
  • Backup, recovery, and capacity planning support
  • Automation & Configuration Management
  • Bash scripting for operational automation
  • Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management
  • Standardisation and reduction of configuration drift
  • Azure Cloud & Hybrid Platforms
  • Azure Linux Virtual Machines and storage services
  • Azure networking: VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN integration
  • Hybrid connectivity between on prem and Azure, including identity and DNS integration
  • Containers & Kubernetes (AKS)
  • Container fundamentals using Docker and Podman
  • AKS cluster operations, scaling, and node management
  • Workload deployment, persistent storage, and monitoring
  • Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO)
  • OpenShift cluster operations and platform support
  • Projects, operators, RBAC, and storage configuration
  • Azure integration and identity management
  • Security, Monitoring & Operations
  • OS hardening, access control, and certificate management
