We are looking for an experienced Joiner to join a successful and growing Property Services Team, working within Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes Maintenance. The role involves carrying out work across residential and non-residential properties throughout North Yorkshire, particularly in the Leeds and York areas.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality repairs and maintenance service, ensuring excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out all aspects of joinery work to a high standard in occupied and void properties.
- Complete repairs, maintenance, and installation work in both domestic and non-domestic premises.
- Undertake tasks ranging from minor repairs to the installation and replacement of major components.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
- Work effectively as part of a maintenance team while also being capable of working independently.
- Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Completed a recognised Joinery apprenticeship or possess equivalent relevant experience.
- Relevant trade qualifications.
- Proven experience carrying out a wide range of joinery repairs and installation work.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in occupied and void properties.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
