We are seeking an experienced Training Developer / Training Coordinator to support training development activities across multiple business areas within a centralised training function. The role involves delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose training solutions aligned to organisational and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, design, develop, and implement training materials using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) methodology
- Deliver training outputs in line with internal procedures and agreed training schedules
- Support programme and project requirements, ensuring deliverables are met within defined timelines
- Conduct training pilots and refine materials based on feedback
- Deliver training courses when required
- Carry out post-training evaluations and respond to stakeholder feedback
- Participate in audits, evaluations, and training reviews
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), providing handovers and coaching on developed materials
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members, particularly around SAT methodology
- Attend and actively contribute to peer reviews, meetings, and training events
- Maintain compliance with required technical and behavioural standards
Additional Information
- Work assignments may change based on project priorities; equivalent tasks will be allocated where necessary
- Schedule adjustments may occur in line with business needs
- Candidates will be expected to attend relevant internal training and role-specific events
Requirements
- Proven experience in training development, coordination, or instructional design
- Strong understanding and practical application of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
- Experience working in regulated or technical environments (e.g., engineering, infrastructure, defence) is desirable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements
