It's your chance to help bring world-class vessels to life!\n 12-month contracts with strong potential for extension\n \n Work on real ships, not just parts on a bench\n \n What You'll Be Doing \n \n \n You'll be at the heart of the action — fabricating, assembling, and installing key ship components to the highest standards. \n Marking off materials \n Building ship structures (shells, decks, bulkheads & more) \n Fabricating items like ladders, panels & flooring \n Installing hatches, watertight doors & onboard equipment \n Using machinery for rolling, cutting & forming materials \n Preparing vessels for launch and sea trials \n Docking work, plate prep, pressure testing & fitting \n \n What You'll Need \n \n \n Ability to read fabrication & installation drawings \n Strong hands-on fabrication and assembly skills \n Knowledge of manufacturing processes \n Solid awareness of safety, health & environmental risks \n \n Pay Rates (PAYE) \n Days: \n \n \n Locals: £20.80/hr \n Non-locals: £28.80/hr \n Nights: \n \n \n Locals: £27.66/hr \n Non-locals: £n \n \n Minimum 37 hours per week \n Overtime available (not guaranteed) \n 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) \n \n Important Info \n \n \n Trade test & security clearance required \n Apply with an up-to-date, task-specific CV and apprenticeship papers and i will call to discuss further \n \n Don't just build a career — build ships.
