My client is seeking a competent and versatile Multi-skilled Electrical Engineer to join their maintenance team on a short-term contract in the Milton Keynes area. The role involves providing both electrical and mechanical expertise to support the maintenance department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of site equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and managing risks associated with equipment
- Updating technical drawings
- Improving maintenance programmes
- Working on three-phase electrical systems up to 440V, handling motors, gearboxes, valves, and other mechanical components
- Accurate task management using mobile devices linked to the CAFM maintenance system
- Liaising with onsite services to resolve building services issues
- Deputising for the Shift Leader when required
- Strict adherence to risk assessments and health and safety procedures
Skills:
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance expertise
- Experience working with three-phase systems up to 440V
- Ability to identify and manage equipment risks
- Proficient in updating technical drawings and documentation
- Competent in writing and following risk assessments
- Experience with motors, gearboxes, valves, and related equipment
- Skilled in using mobile devices and CAFM maintenance systems
- Strong communication and liaison skills with onsite teams
