A senior pricing opportunity where your decisions genuinely move the numbers. We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Head of Pricing to take ownership of the pricing strategy for a high-volume consumer business operating within the travel and transport sector. This is a role for someone who doesn't just analyse pricing β you shape it. You'll own the strategic pricing agenda across a complex, high-volume product portfolio, using demand, capacity, competitor and customer signals to make fast, commercially intelligent decisions.
What you'll be doing:
- Own and lead the overall pricing strategy, including rate architecture, lead-time curves, seasonality and discount discipline.
- Turn booking pace, demand and market intelligence into decisive pricing action.
- Own pricing-led revenue inputs into annual budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial plans.
- Drive revenue, yield and EBITDA performance, balancing volume with margin.
- Lead a robust test-and-learn agenda across price points, floor prices, lead times and product mix.
- Provide senior-level performance insight and commercial commentary, clearly articulating risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
- Lead and develop a small revenue management team while working closely with Marketing, E-commerce, Performance Marketing and other commercial stakeholders.
- Act as the senior voice for pricing and trading, influencing commercial strategy at leadership level.
What we're looking for:
- You'll be an experienced revenue management or pricing professional with a strong commercial instinct and a track record of delivering growth.
- Ideally, you'll bring a strong background in travel, transport, hospitality or another dynamic consumer sector.
- Proven success in creating and executing pricing strategies that deliver revenue and yield growth.
- Experience owning or contributing to annual budgeting and longer-term financial planning.
- Strong analytical capability and confidence working with large datasets, Excel, BI and revenue management/pricing platforms.
- The ability to turn complex data into clear commercial decisions.
- A rigorous test-and-learn mindset.
- The confidence to challenge assumptions, make difficult pricing calls and operate effectively under senior scrutiny.
- Experience leading people and influencing across a matrixed commercial environment.
Why this role?
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of pricing strategy in a commercially significant business. You'll have the autonomy to shape pricing decisions, influence senior stakeholders and build a modern revenue management approach β with a clear connection between your decisions and the bottom line. If you're a strategic pricing leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants a role where commercial judgement matters, we'd love to hear from you.
