Job Description

The Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across multiple digital channels. This role involves analysing market trends and customer behaviour to optimise campaigns and maximise return on investment. The postholder works closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and to support the overall growth of the organisation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage growth marketing campaigns across digital platforms including search engines, social media, email, and affiliate networks.
  • Analyse customer data, market trends, and campaign performance to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and creative teams to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with company goals and brand identity.
  • Manage budgets effectively and allocate resources to maximise campaign efficiency and return on investment.
  • Lead the planning and execution of A/B testing, conversion rate optimisation, and user acquisition strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular reports for senior management on marketing effectiveness and growth metrics.
  • Stay informed of industry developments and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Oversee the management of external agencies and vendors where necessary to support marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and ethical marketing practises.

Experience

  • At least three years of experience in managing digital marketing campaigns focused on growth and customer acquisition.
  • Experience using analytics tools to measure and enhance campaign performance.
  • Demonstrable success in increasing customer base and improving conversion rates through targeted marketing activities.
  • Candidate from Publishing or Market Insight backgrounds would be of particular interest.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including paid search, social media advertising, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and marketing automation software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
