Job Purpose: Contribute as a member of the Stores Team to achieve O&P UK targets for SHE reliability, integrity and quality of our Stores operations. Perform all functions of the Stores function and responsible for the safe receipt, inspection, location, issue and dispatch of all materials entering or leaving the INEOS Grangemouth site.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Responsible for all of the Stores duties listed below. The Technician will be required to use their own initiative to make important decisions for emergency provision to the Assets.
- Adherence to all Stores processes, procedures and risk assessments.
- Conducting Sample Run – collecting samples from Site and delivering to Site Laboratory in a safe and timely manner.
- Conducting Goods-in Inspection Process in adherence to Site Processes and Procedures.
- Ensure all material held in Stores is safely located and stored.
- Receiving and checking all material directed to the Stores, ensuring that all the necessary transactions are undertaken in a safe and efficient manner and all relevant transaction details are recorded into the load register/Maximo in accordance with Stores Procedures STOR-1-02 and STOR-1-03.
- Prioritise workload and liaise with other team members.
- Identify and report stock anomalies when issuing materials (e.g. stock check).
- Raise NCRs on non-conforming incoming stock.
- Resolve where possible unknown orders or queries.
- Adherence to all Dispatch and packaging processes & procedures for all materials leaving the complex for UK and Overseas locations.
- Issue materials from Stores ensuring that all material issued conforms to the requisition requirement and all transactions are entered in Maximo.
- Deliver & collect goods to and from designated delivery points.
- Control and issue consignment stock for relevant suppliers.
Special Features:
- Provide Store support for planned and unplanned Asset outages.
- Potential for shift working during planned and unplanned Asset outages.
- Works a reasonable amount of overtime as per operational requirements.
- Ability to work with minimal Supervision and have a responsible attitude to work.
- Potential for occasional lone working subject to appropriate risk assessment.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Forklift Counterbalance and or Forklift Reach Truck licence.
- Ability to use initiative and prioritise work during emergencies.
- Knowledge of site operating standards/ procedures and relevant HSE legislation.
- Working knowledge of three way match Goods-In Procedure.
- Have good IT Skills especially Microsoft Office packages and Warehousing systems.
- Ability to use initiative and prioritise work.
- Flexible and has the ability to work under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
- Professional at all times, with drive/determination and a positive attitude.
- A team player who takes responsibility for delivering their role and seeks out their next task.
- Willing to learn and to share their knowledge and experience with others.
