Scottish Power Energy Networks are looking for a Technical Support assistant to join their busy team based in Blantyre, on a 12 month contract basis.
Working within the license programmes team, you will report to the Project lead and support the delivery of the Smart interventions project. The role also provides wider operational support across data management, reporting, document preparation, and process compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead weekly service partner meetings.
- Monitor regulatory SLAs for Project.
- Create, build, and maintain projects and work orders in SAP PM and SAP PPM in line with business rules and data standards.
- Act as a primary interface for customers and contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project progress and flag inconsistencies or issues proactively.
- Provide administrative support to the LV service team.
- Support cross-team collaboration and communication efforts.
Skills and Requirements
Essential
- Ability to organise and prioritise a high volume workload in a fast paced environment.
- Strong customer service experience with excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Strong decision making skills, with confidence to act independently where appropriate.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with corporate systems, ideally SAP PM and/or SAP PPM.
- Excellent data handling, validation, and reporting skills.
- Comfortable working with technical information.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality and service.
Desirable
- Technical understanding of electrical networks (with training provided if not held).
- Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, or other network management and customer systems.

- Excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels.
- Strong customer focus.
- Effective decision maker, not inhibited by consultation with others when necessary or give lead as required.
- Ability to deliver objectives without compromising on safety, quality, or customer service.
