Role Overview:
As an SAP Application Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and delivering application solutions across major transformation programmes. You will act as a subject matter expert for specific SAP application platforms, working closely with architecture, strategy, and project teams to ensure solutions align with business and technical objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and consultancy on designated SAP application platforms to transformation teams and project stakeholders
- Contribute specialist input into the global and local definition of application strategy, standards, and operating procedures
- Translate high-level architectural designs into detailed, implementable solution designs
- Collaborate closely with the Architecture & Strategy team to ensure consistency and alignment across solutions
- Produce and maintain high-quality design documentation using modelling and document management tools
- Support both project delivery and ongoing application support within a complex SAP environment
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant professional experience in SAP or enterprise application roles
- At least 5 years' hands-on experience in application solution design and delivery of IT solutions
- Proven experience working within project delivery and application support organisations
- Experience delivering industrial platforms or horizontal software middleware solutions
- Strong understanding of enterprise technologies and common packaged platforms and systems
- Ability to work effectively in large, complex environments with multiple stakeholders
