Job Description:
- Machinery and Plant installation
- Levelling and Laser alignment of mechanical equipment
- Torque of Equipment - Tightening to a certain degree
- Working to tight tolerance with equipment
- Dimensional controls equipment e.g. laser measuring devices
- Drilling and tapping of holes
- Marking off
- Jig Fabrication
- Working with Hydraulics
Your Skills and Requirements:
- Trade papers, e.g. Formal Modern apprenticeship
- Shaft line experience
- Clear understanding of SHE Risks Awareness
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height
- Safety certification i.e. SHE Induction, COSHH Awareness, working at height etc.
- Mechanical Background and Experience within Mechanical Fitter
