  • Local contractors
    • Standard: PAYE: £20.10, UMBRELLA: £26.89
    • Nightshift: PAYE: £26.73, UMBRELLA: £35.67
  • Travelling contractors
    • Standard: PAYE: £28.10, UMBRELLA: £37.75
    • Nightshift: PAYE: £34.73, UMBRELLA: £46.52

Job Description:

  • Machinery and Plant installation
  • Levelling and Laser alignment of mechanical equipment
  • Torque of Equipment - Tightening to a certain degree
  • Working to tight tolerance with equipment
  • Dimensional controls equipment e.g. laser measuring devices
  • Drilling and tapping of holes
  • Marking off
  • Jig Fabrication
  • Working with Hydraulics

Your Skills and Requirements:

  • Trade papers, e.g. Formal Modern apprenticeship
  • Shaft line experience
  • Clear understanding of SHE Risks Awareness
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height
  • Safety certification i.e. SHE Induction, COSHH Awareness, working at height etc.
  • Mechanical Background and Experience within Mechanical Fitter
