Role: Marine Coordinator – Scottish Power

What you get:

  • Hybrid Role
  • Competitive rate umbrella or PAYE
  • Contract – initially until 31/12/26
  • Lowestoft – 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Expectations:

  • The Duty Marine Coordinator will report to the Lead Marine Coordinator.
  • Coordination of all project vessels.
  • Ensuring personnel are tracked from port departure until returning safely back to port.
  • Ensure the Marine Coordination software is utilised to track all offshore transfers and vessel movements.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all offshore emergencies.
  • Monitor work control (Authority to work system) to ensure that permits are in place for planned works.
  • Efficient utilisation of all vessels on Charter to minimise non-productive time.
  • Coordinating all marine traffic during offshore operations including transit to and from port.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Marine Coordinator preferred.
  • In lieu of experience as a Marine Coordinator, experienced STCW Master 200t & OOW will be considered.
  • Previous experience working in the offshore wind industry.
  • Offshore marine or helicopter coordination experience, including knowledge of the safety rules.
  • Proficiency in radio communications including STCW ROC and/or GOC.
