What is expected from me?
As a qualified electrician you will have an important role within the business to stay professional throughout your contract delivering to the highest standard ensuring Safety, Health and Environmental regulations are followed.
Job Description
- Installation of all types of cables (multi-core, single core and co-axial) & electrical systems (junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches etc.)
- Technical systems diagnostics: Confident using schematics for fault finding and testing with multi-meters and insulation resistance testers.
Requirements
- Qualifications & Compliance: Holds a full Engineering Modern Apprenticeship, trade papers.
- Understanding of electrical installation drawings
- Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height
- Safety certification i.e. SHE Induction, COSHH Awareness, working at height etc
- Background in marine, Oil and Gas, major construction / manufacturing environment
