We are currently recruiting for an experienced Rope Access PFP Applicator with a valid Chartek qualification to join a high-profile offshore project on the Nelson Platform. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major North Sea asset, offering competitive rates, immediate mobilisation and the chance to be part of a skilled offshore team delivering critical integrity and maintenance works.

The Role
As a Rope Access PFP Applicator, you will be responsible for carrying out Passive Fire Protection (PFP) activities, including the preparation and application of Chartek systems to offshore structures and assets. You will work to detailed specifications and quality standards, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently within a highly regulated offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply Chartek Passive Fire Protection systems in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements
- Carry out surface preparation activities prior to application
- Apply PFP materials to the required film thickness and quality standards
- Undertake repairs and maintenance of existing PFP systems where required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and ensure equipment is used correctly
- Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined offshore team
Essential Requirements
- Current IRATA Rope Access certification
- Valid Chartek Applicator qualification
- Previous experience applying Passive Fire Protection (PFP) systems offshore
- Current offshore certification, including:
- BOSIET/FOET
- MIST
- Offshore Medical
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work
- Ability to mobilise immediately
