We are recruiting a General Services Manager to join a large, complex operational site based in Broughton. This role supports the delivery of General (Soft) Services across a high-activity, safety-critical environment, ensuring services are delivered on time, to the required quality, and within agreed cost parameters. The General Services Manager will be responsible for managing outsourced service providers, maintaining compliance, controlling operational spend, and working closely with site stakeholders to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-run site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing General Services deliverables such as cleaning, catering, grounds maintenance, waste, mailroom, transport, and office services.
  • Overseeing and managing multiple outsourced service providers, monitoring performance against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensuring services are delivered to agreed standards of time, cost, quality, and compliance.
  • Acting as a key interface between service providers and site stakeholders to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Supporting budget and Opex management, identifying risks and opportunities to meet annual cost targets.
