A General Site Operative is required to support clean water repair works on an active site environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone physically fit, reliable and comfortable working outdoors while following strict health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Placing No Parking cones to enable clean water repair works to be carried out safely
- Collecting and removing signs, barriers and cones promptly once works are completed
- Assisting with backfilling and general site duties as required
- Supporting the site team to ensure works are completed efficiently
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working area at all times
Requirements
- Manual Handling training, essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Previous site or civils experience preferred
- Streetworks qualification desirable, training can be facilitated
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused
Working Hours and Overtime
- Standard working hours, 13:00 to 21:00
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Overtime available when required
Overtime Rates
- After 21:00, paid at 1.5x
- Saturday, paid at 1.5x
- Sunday, paid at 2x
