About The Role

Working within a specialist manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis turning centres to produce bespoke precision-engineered components. You will work from detailed engineering drawings, ensuring all products are manufactured to exact specifications and meet stringent quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis turning centres
  • Manufacturing high-precision components to fine tolerances
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Selecting and using precision measuring equipment
  • Inspecting completed components to ensure quality and compliance
  • Working safely within a controlled engineering environment
  • Collaborating with production and engineering teams to achieve delivery targets
What We are Looking For
  • Experience programming and operating CNC multi-axis turning centres
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working to fine imperial and metric tolerances
  • Strong understanding of precision measurement equipment
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience with Siemens and/or Mazak controls would be advantageous
  • Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification

Due to the nature of the work, successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
