Morson are proud to be partnering with a leading UK food manufacturer as they continue to invest in their newest manufacturing facility in Wakefield. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the site's engineering function, ensuring the plant operates safely, efficiently and reliably while driving continuous improvement, performance and long-term asset strategy. This is a key leadership position within the site management team, offering the opportunity to shape engineering culture, develop a high-performing team and play a significant role in the future success of a major manufacturing operation.
The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the engineering department, leading maintenance, reliability, projects and continuous improvement activities across the site. You'll ensure engineering resources, systems and processes are aligned to support operational performance, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, food quality and compliance. Working closely with Operations, HSE, Quality and Supply Chain teams, you'll develop and deliver engineering strategies that maximise equipment reliability, minimise downtime and support future growth.
