Beaufort is seeking a Systems & Test Engineer to support product verification, validation, and qualification activities across safety-critical aerospace and marine systems. This role suits a hands-on mechanical or aerospace engineer with experience in test execution, analysis, and certification-facing work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute qualification and verification test plans
  • Own and maintain requirements verification matrices (V&V)
  • Lead and support physical testing activities (lab, rig, or field-based)
  • Analyse test data and produce clear technical reports
  • Conduct analytical assessments to support product qualification
  • Assess test evidence reuse across similar products
  • Interface with internal teams, customers, and certification bodies
  • Support DFMEA activities and engineering documentation
  • Contribute to process improvements and engineering best practices

Required Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar)
  • Experience in test, validation, or product qualification
  • Proven experience running hands-on engineering tests
  • Experience with verification & validation (V&V) processes
  • Ability to interpret and manage technical requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with customers or certification authorities

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with DFMEA
  • Familiarity with regulated industries (aerospace, defence, marine, automotive)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
