Morson Talent are recruiting for a Supply Officer to join a leading aerospace and manufacturing organisation based in Broughton.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to work within a fast-paced environment, managing supplier performance and ensuring the smooth flow of materials across a complex global supply chain network.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational delivery through proactive supplier management, demand planning, risk mitigation and inventory optimisation.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office-based collaboration with remote working flexibility.

Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of suppliers and monitor supply chain performance.

Drive supplier performance improvements and lead recovery activities where required.

Anticipate supply chain risks and implement effective mitigation plans.

Manage demand and forecast activities to support operational requirements.

Maintain accurate order books and MRP master data.

Utilise SAP and digital business tools to support planning and decision-making.

Prioritise supply chain activities to ensure production requirements are met.

Collaborate with procurement, quality and operational stakeholders.

Act as the first point of contact for supply chain-related queries.

Monitor and optimise inventory levels and procured goods stock.

Support continuous improvement, digitalisation and supply chain transformation initiatives.

Participate in supplier meetings and cross-functional working groups.

About You
We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain Procurement Manufacturing Engineering Engineering Operations Production Planning Essential Skills & Experience
Strong supply chain or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.

Previous experience using SAP and MRP systems.

Supplier management and performance improvement experience.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Experience working with data to support operational decision-making.

A proactive approach with the ability to hit the ground running.

Desirable Skills
Lean or Continuous Improvement experience.

Project management exposure.

Experience with digital tools, process automation or transformation projects.

Experience working within international or multi-site organisations.

Knowledge of Google Workspace tools.
