Drillers Wanted – Barrow-in-Furness
Ready to put your drilling skills to work on world-class engineering projects? Our client is looking for experienced Drillers to join our team in Barrow on a 12-month contract.
If you enjoy precision work, solving practical challenges, and being part of a team that takes pride in quality craftsmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
Work safely at all times, complying with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Select and inspect the appropriate tools and equipment required for drilling and stud welding operations, ensuring they are safe and fit for purpose.
Verify completed work meets the required quality standards and specifications.
- Drilling to depth
- Drilling clear holes
- Flat-bottom drilling
- Stud welding
Completed and approved apprenticeship in a relevant engineering or manufacturing trade.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline.
Pay Rates (PAYE) LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY WITHIN 39 MILES FROM SITE:
- Standard Days: £20.10 per hour
- 3 on / 4 off Days: £24.12 per hour
Shift Patterns:
- A variety of shift patterns are available, including:
- Standard Day Shifts
- 3 On / 4 Off Day Shifts.
