We are recruiting an experienced Solar PV Electrician in the Leeds Area.

The Role:

  • Installation and commissioning of solar PV inverters and battery storage systems
  • Carrying out service, maintenance, and inspection works on existing systems
  • Installation of AC supplies, containment, and cable runs
  • Fault finding, testing, and troubleshooting of PV and battery systems
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with industry best practice and system specifications
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and back-office staff
  • Maintain full compliance with health & safety procedures and risk assessments
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs

Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • Test & Inspection Certificate (2391 or equivalent)
  • Valid CSCS or ECS card
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in solar PV and/or battery storage systems
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations and testing procedures
  • Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers in a professional manner
  • Ability to work at heights and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to use technology remotely
  • Full UK driving licence
