About the Role
We're recruiting an experienced and reliable Electrician to join a well-established contractor specialising in maintenance and improvement works across social housing properties in Derbyshire. This is a permanent role, offering long-term stability, ongoing support, and a company van for work use.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations within occupied and void social housing properties
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and to a high standard
- Complete EICRs and any remedial works required
- Ensure all work meets current electrical regulations and best practices
- Maintain excellent customer service when interacting with tenants
- Keep accurate records and update job management systems where required
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition qualified
- 2391 (Testing & Inspection) desirable but not essential
- Experience working in social housing or domestic environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
