I'm recruiting for an experienced Delivery Manager / Technical Delivery Lead to drive the successful delivery of high-quality digital products for my non-profit charity client. Working closely with Product Managers, engineers, and key business stakeholders, you'll translate product roadmaps into clear, achievable delivery plans while ensuring strong governance, quality, and compliance. You'll lead agile delivery teams, manage risks and dependencies, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve delivery performance. This role plays a critical bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, focus on priorities, and value delivered to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end software delivery, from planning and estimation through to release.
  • Partner with Product Managers to shape delivery plans, priorities, and roadmaps.
  • Lead agile delivery practices and ceremonies, removing blockers and enabling teams to succeed.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and budgets to ensure predictable delivery.
  • Ensure appropriate testing, quality, security, and governance standards are met.
  • Communicate delivery progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous improvement, CI/CD best practices, and agile/lean ways of working.

About You:

  • Strong background in software or digital delivery, ideally in a SaaS or web-based app environment.
  • Proven experience delivering complex digital services in fast-moving environments.
  • Comfortable working with both modern and legacy systems, ideally in a regulated sector.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and outcome-focused, with the confidence to make trade-offs and challenge priorities.
  • An excellent communicator and relationship builder who can translate technical detail into clear business outcomes.
  • Passionate about customer-centric delivery and building simpler, better digital services.
