We are recruiting for a client in Birchwood who is looking for Customer Service & Sales Advisors to join their team on a fixed-term contract.
Contract details:
- Start date: Friday 23rd January
- End date: Friday 1st May
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
- Saturdays: 2 Saturdays in every 4 (9am-12.30pm)
- Location: Fully office-based (no hybrid/remote)
The role:
This is a fast-paced, inbound customer service role handling approximately 40-80 calls per day. You will be speaking with customers about a range of issues, including:
- Supporting vulnerable customers
- Handling and resolving late or lost deliveries
- Validating customer ID
- Discussing and offering packages across different fuel types
- Managing difficult conversations calmly and professionally
While customer care is the priority, you will also need the confidence to identify and suggest upsell opportunities where appropriate.
About you:
- Experienced in a fast-paced customer service or call centre environment
- Comfortable handling challenging conversations
- Patient, empathetic and resilient
- Confident communicator with good attention to detail
- Able to balance customer support with commercial awareness
- Must be able to commit to the full duration of the contract
