Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Rate:14.95 per hour (£31,096 pro rata)

Start Date: 1 September 2026, subject to completion of background checks

About the Role

Morson Edge are recruiting for a Customer Experience Centre Assistant Team Leader to join a busy and professional team in Warrington.

This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the day-to-day operation of a small team of multi-skilled operatives. You'll help coordinate workloads, monitor performance and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

You’ll develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, facilities suppliers, landlords and managing agents, ensuring services are delivered effectively and issues are resolved promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, coordinate and monitor a small team of multi-skilled operatives
  • Assist with the day-to-day management and performance of contractors on site
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate facilities and operational activities
  • Support financial and administrative processes, ensuring information is accurate and completed on time
  • Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
  • Follow established escalation and incident reporting procedures
  • Support regular management reporting and projects
  • Monitor and achieve agreed KPIs and SLAs
  • Assess operational priorities and make effective decisions quickly
  • Respond to issues and changing priorities in a calm and professional manner
  • Potentially oversee team members and provide day-to-day leadership and support

Essential Requirements

  • Previous engineering helpdesk experience orPrevious facilities management experience
  • The ability to think on your feet and make effective decisions under pressure
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment
  • A confident and professional approach
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience working with contractors, vendors and/or engineers
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A good understanding of customer service principles

We're looking for someone who is proactive, dependable and confident dealing with a wide range of people. You'll need to remain composed when working under pressure and be comfortable making decisions to ensure operational requirements are met.

  • Engineering operations knowledge
  • Experience coordinating or managing multi-skilled teams

  • Experience within a large corporate facilities environment
  • Experience working within a highly regulated environment
