We are currently recruiting for a Customer Business Coordinator to work with an aerospace sector client based in Fareham.
As a Customer Business Co-ordinator, you will be the trusted link between our customers and the teams that bring their solutions to life. You will build strong, confident relationships, listen closely to customer needs, and keep communication clear, proactive and purposeful. Working across business, you will help turn customer requirements into seamless day-to-day delivery, ensuring every product and service reflects the quality and commitment our customers expect.
You will also champion customer satisfaction and service excellence, guiding orders from initial treatment through to follow-up with a customer-first mindset and a focus on making every interaction smooth, responsive and reliable.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Take full ownership of customer accounts, guiding each journey from order entry through to invoicing while identifying opportunities to introduce additional services that add value.
- Play a central role in bringing change to life within the live production environment, working closely with the right support teams to plan, coordinate and deliver successful outcomes.
- Build a clear understanding of the technical impacts within each change scope, helping to keep activity aligned, controlled and well communicated.
- Work alongside peers in Customer Support to share the latest manufacturing and production knowledge, keeping teams informed, confident and connected.
- Coordinate and follow up on customer requests and claims internally, ensuring progress is visible, timely and customer focused.
- Represent the customer voice in meetings, supporting service reviews and helping customers gain a clear view of the value and performance delivered by the company.
- Maintain accurate records that support traceability, accountability and smooth day-to-day customer service operations.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- To do this job, you must be proficient in ERP, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Change Management and have basic knowledge in contract management, export, sales knowledge and logistics.
- We would appreciate it if you had CRM experience, ERP knowledge, and knowledge of smartcards.
- You need to be fluent in English.
- We would like someone to join our team who is customer-oriented, organized, autonomous, a team player, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and works well under pressure.
- We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience in customer service or related roles.
