A large, regulated infrastructure business is seeking an Interim FP&A consultant to support a key operational finance function during a period of transition and investment growth. This role will partner closely with senior operational leaders across a major operational division worth approximately Β£800m. The position will act as a key support to the Finance Director, combining strategic oversight with strong operational finance delivery.
Key responsibilities of the FP&A consultant:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and annual planning cycles
- Deliver board packs and executive-level analysis
- Support strategic planning and commercial decision making
- Improve reporting, controls and FP&A processes
- Oversee month-end commercial finance activities
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business
- Manage, develop and hire into the existing finance team
What we expect from you:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Proven senior FP&A experience
- Utilities or regulated sector experience preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Previous team management and recruitment experience
- Strong Excel capability, alongside exposure to SAP, Power BI or similar systems
