Morson are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to be based in Portsmouth. This role is working on behalf of our aerospace clients, on an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. Role Responsibilities Plans and designs manufacturing processes in industrial plant. Maximizes efficiency by analysing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization. Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification. Helps improve manufacturing line and product cost savings. Uses 3D CAD to generate 3D CAD models. Experience Required Manufacturing engineering experience. Knowledge of LEAN Principles. Experience with 3D CAD to generate 3D CAD models. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Experience, and ability to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area. Works under immediate supervision and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Drug Screening required.
